This cooked sausage, with its irresistible garlic aroma, is a typical product of the French charcuterie.
Made of French pork meat and fresh garlic, the sausage is cased to be baked in the oven and then smoked for a few hours.
Perfect in sauerkraut, with lentils or even a French Cassoulet, it can be served with a simple salad or a slice of buttered bread.
Also exist non-smocked.
Ingredients
Pork meat (87%)*, pork fat*, water, salt, garlic (1.1%)**, dextrose, spices, stabiliser: tripolyphosphates, preservatives: potassium lactate and sodium nitrite, nutmeg, antioxidant: sodium erythorbate, smoke flavor.
